Central Coast Chardonnay
This wine draws from two Monterey County vineyards, one near Gonzales and the other in Arroyo Seco, where rocky soils, cool winds, and bright acidity combine with clay soils and slightly warmers conditions to create ripe, rich flavors. This Chardonnay was formerly known as “No Oak” Chardonnay and is primarily fermented in stainless steel tanks, with just 4% fermented in neutral French oak. It does not undergo malolactic fermentation, while five months of aging with light lees stirring adds richness and texture.
